Mechanical Engineering Category:

Mechanical Systems study generations and applications of heat, mechanical power, design, production, and the use of machines and tools. It focuses, as well, on studying the design of ships and automotive vehicles, and the direction of the technical phases of their manufacture and operation.

Electrical Engineering Category:

Electrical Systems deal with the generation of electrical power on both large and small scales. The study of Large-scale power systems involves understanding how power is generated at the power plant, and how it is transmitted to homes, companies, and factories. On the smaller scale, power systems study motors and generators, which convert energy from electrical to mechanical form and vice versa. In addition to the associated power electronics.

Communication Engineering Category:

Communication systems’ projects cover implementation and performance testing of channel coding, modulation, signals processing, optical communication and mobile networks.

Electronics Engineering Category:

The Electronics projects cover analog IC design, digital IC design, Nanoelectronics & VLSI chips.

Biomedical Engineering Category:

The Biomedical Engineering category covers designing or developing medical devices and computer hardware or software for medical science and healthcare applications, that are capable of creating or developing new technologies for medical diagnosis, monitoring and therapy.

Embedded Systems Category:

The Embedded Systems category covers projects including hardware-software integration, which execute a specific function by controlling the signals of input & output data.

Robotics Category:

Robotics category covers the projects that include mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and programming integration, which produces robots to perform a certain task or mission.

Software Engineering Category:

Software Engineering covers cybersecurity, networks systems, human-machine interfaces, mobile applications, websites, and machine learning projects.
Note: Any project that contains hardware implementation is considered as an “Embedded Systems” project.

Civil & Architecture Engineering Category:

Civil & Architecture engineering cover planning, design and operation of buildings, bridges, structures, highways, airports, harbors, dams and tunnels.

Energy Category:

Energy Category covers projects that deal with wind, solar fuel cells, biomass, energy in buildings, renewable energy grid integration and geothermal energy. In addition, it covers any project, which has an industrial value in saving energy.

Industrial Engineering Category:

Industrial Engineering category covers projects that deal with industrial machines like CNC & 3D printers
